Series Part 2

Specifically, Hayter refers to key characteristics such as the new damage system that leaves scars on the character as the game progresses and a new control proposal, in addition to a more intuitive camera system for those accustomed to modern third-person action formats. Additionally, he had a conversation with producer Noriaki Okamura, who has worked on the series for several decades, to discuss the new title and the future of the franchise.

“We left the gameplay, story, and voice cast of the original game, but had to bring the graphics and controls up to modern standards, which have changed over the years,” Okamura warns. “All of that has been updated, but the core of the game – and the creative vision of the original team – hasn’t changed.” In reference to the name chosen for the review of the video game, those responsible for the company assure that “the Delta (Δ) symbol was chosen because its meaning fits the concept of the remake project. Delta means ‘change’ or ‘difference without changing the structure.’”
